On 04/24/2024 the UniFi World Conference Tour made a stop in Munich. In the unique setting of the Showpalast, Ubiquiti presented the new technical releases and relevant updates for this year.
The core topics were the U7 Pro with the new WiFi 7 technology and the UI Care package.
CEO Robert Pera announced a further eleven new access points for 2024.
The new WiFi 7 standard offers a whole range of improvements compared to its predecessors. The combination of WiFi 7-capable routers and end devices shall enable higher download speeds and increase the responsiveness and reliability of the wireless network.
The UI Care package, in turn, is designed to offer customers improved hardware support over a period of five years. It is purchased as a surcharge for a new device. In the event of a technical defect, the item can be returned free of charge via this exclusive replacement protection period. A new product is then shipped by Ubiquiti before the old item has even been checked.
