Today we would like to introduce three of the available UniFi LTU products to you: LTU-Lite, LTU-Pro and the LTU-Rocket base station. The LTU-LR acts as a long-distance client, which is currently only available in the EA (Early Access) Store.

LTU-ROCKET
5 GHz PtMP LTU Base Station Radio

 

Ubiquiti introduces the LTU-Rocket®, the first Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) BaseStation radio in the LTU™ product family. Operating in the 5 GHz frequency band, the LTU-Rocket is a spectrally efficient, noise-resilient PtMP AP specifically designed for wireless ISPs (WISPs).
Primary features of the LTU-Rocket include:

  • 600+ Mbps PtMP performance
  • Up to 64 client connections per AP
  • 2+ Million pps
  • Proprietary RF filtering

LTU-LITE
5 GHz PtMP LTU Client Radio

Featuring an integrated antenna, the LTU-Lite is a compact, cost-effective subscriber station utilizing the 5 GHz radio band. It functions as a CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) in a Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) environment with the LTU-Rocket® as the base station.

To manage the LTU-Lite, you have two options: the LTU Configuration Interface and Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS™). Either option lets you manually configure the LTU-Lite.

UniFi LTU-Pro

 

Featuring an integrated 24 dBi dish antenna, the LTU-Pro is a 5 GHz subscriber station that functions as a CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) in a Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) environment with the LTU-Rocket® as the base station.

Based on Ubiquiti's LTU technology, the LTU-Pro is not impeded by the limitations of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi technology. Its custom LTU silicon and radio architecture provide up to 600+ Mbps of real TCP/IP throughput and modulation rates of up to 4096 QAM.
